We were incredibly excited to see the brand-new playground at Perton Primary Academy and it did not disappoint.
We chipped in to help them raise £100k for this impressive new playground for its pupils. It was important for the school to invest in the different facilities they offered to give the pupils the best possible learning experience.
The result is a vibrant and colourful place for pupils to explore and play.
Executive Headteacher Lynn Small said: “The trust helped us to top up the pot and with all of the admin and paperwork. Without them helping out we wouldn’t have been able to find the time to do it so quickly”.
The playground development which officially opened on 19th April contains a variety of different activities and games for the pupils to interact with.
After getting their playground resurfaced, Perton Primary Academy worked with industry-leading provider, Fun & Active Playgrounds, to install their chosen playground markings.
The main aim of the playing area is to give pupils the opportunity to express themselves by learning and exercising to help promote a healthy lifestyle.
Activities that encourage pupils to get outside and play is now more important than ever.
With many pupils growing up in a world of being online instead of playing outdoors the playground is the perfect way to give them a break from their screens.
Have you seen the playground yet? Which bit is your favourite?
