Our Education Improvement Partners (EIPs) have a wide and varied range of educational experience and offer the benefit of external perspective to enhance our school improvement offer.
In addition to the roles which the EIPs fulfil within the SUAT School Improvement model, each EIP offers bespoke areas of support and expertise which schools can access depending on priorities and need.

Debi Bailey
Debi has worked in education for over 30 years as a senior leader. She is committed to teaching, developing, and supporting both pupils and our talented staff members across the Trust. Her design and delivery of subject leadership training stems from a deep understanding of working with a range of settings from primary through to sixth forms and special school settings. Since 2017 she has worked across Manchester and Staffordshire with supporting leaders to drive school improvement.

Emma Ford
Emma has worked in primary, middle and high school settings for over 20 years and she loves her job. Emma is as enthusiastic now as she was the day that she started in the profession and her passion is Teaching and Learning due to her belief that every child should achieve the very best that they can. Emma has provided support with Teaching and Learning in other settings with success and she continues to do so. She has particular expertise in Writing, Reading, Maths and Music. Emma is currently a Headteacher in Stoke-on-Trent that has recently attained the Ofsted grading of Outstanding and she is beginning the NPQEL qualification this year.

Caroline Jobling
Caroline has worked in education for over 35 years.
She has worked for Shropshire,Lancashire,Blackpool, Staffordshire and Walsall LA s as a teacher, maths and science lead, deputy head and then as headteacher in 5 schools for a total of 25 years. She has been an LLE for Staffordshire and Lancashire and also worked as an Executive Head and Trust Lead Headteacher. Most of her work has been in schools facing challenging circumstances most recently at Edgar Stammers Walsall where the school was taken out of Special Measures with behaviour and leadership and management rated good. Since taking Early retirement Caroline worked for BCU on the Teach First Programme working with some of the most challenging schools in the North West and East Midlands. As a SUAT EIP since September 2022 she is enjoying sharing her expertise and enthusiasm with a wide range of schools . She has a particular interest in SEND, Cultural Capital and the teaching of reading.
