Colleagues from Staffordshire University Academies Trust were incredibly pleased to join the Entrust Outdoor Education team at Standon Bowers to share the outcomes of their personal development project, which represents the culmination of a collaboration between the two education organisations.
Together, we have worked to shape a resource that captures the breadth and depth of the Personal Development curriculum and opportunities on offer, celebrating an approach to whole-child development and providing a clear and progressive framework that is flexible enough to reflect the unique character of each school community.
Our aim is to ensure that children gain the vital knowledge and skills whilst developing confidence, resilience, and character. Through use of our resources, children will also develop the knowledge and skills to be agents of change within our climate change and sustainability agenda, which shall encourage children to reflect on their choices, their impact on the world around them, and their own future.
