Tynsel Parkes are proud to share Joseph’s story:
“Joseph has always been an active participant in the Park Run held in Uttoxeter. His love for sports grew as he began setting his sights on bigger challenges. With encouragement from his family, Joseph found a new passion: triathlons. Taking on this multi-sport challenge, he not only pushed his physical limits but also set himself a personal goal that reflected his deep connection to his school—he wanted to raise money for Tynsel Parkes while doing something he truly enjoyed.
Joseph’s dedication led him all the way to York, where he took part in a children’s triathlon event, competing alongside young athletes from across the country. His training and determination paid off, as Joseph successfully completed the triathlon and raised an impressive £300 for Tynsel Parkes Primary Academy! This incredible act of kindness and selflessness demonstrates his commitment to the school’s values of belief, teamwork, respect, determination, and love.”
Earlier this term, Tynsel Parkes proudly welcomed Joseph and his parents to school where Joseph presented a cheque for £300, a generous donation that will go a long way in supporting the school’s future initiatives. The Blue Peter badge is a well-deserved recognition of not only Joseph’s sporting achievements but also his generous spirit.
We would like to thank Joseph for his kindness and provide our congratulations on his fantastic achievement, extraordinary efforts and determination!
