Keith Hollins
Chief Executive Officer & Accounting Officer

Keith Hollins was the Headteacher of Westwood College, in Leek, which he led to ‘outstanding’ grades from Ofsted in 2007, 2008 and 2010. He was also the Executive Principal of four high schools in North Staffordshire from 2007 to 2014.  He was a National Leader of Education from 2008 to 2015; supporting several schools out of Special Measures during this time. Keith has also worked for Building Schools for the Future, the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust, the Innovation Unit and the National College for Teaching and Leadership.  Keith was awarded an honorary doctorate by Staffordshire University for his contribution to the education service in Staffordshire.

Rachel Bailye
Chief Operating Officer

Rachel is the Chief Operating Officer for Staffordshire University Academies Trust. Rachel’s background is in business, finance, education and project management. In addition to her role as COO for the MAT she runs two other private companies. Rachel has a huge experience of both the public and private sector. She was formerly the manager of a large vocational education centre, has worked in finance and project management both the public and private sector and has been the Business Manager of two secondary schools, one of which was an academy.  Rachel has been instrumental in the growth of the trust from a single academy to a multi academy trust of 19 schools.

Tracy Ward
Director of Learning and School Improvement

Tracy Ward was the Principal of St. Edward's CE Academy Cheddleton up until August 2018 when she took up her current role with the Trust as the Director of Learning and School Improvement. 

Tracy has worked previously in a variety of rural and urban schools in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. She was Local Leader of Education (LLE) and is a Professional Partner and a qualified Pupil Premium Reviewer. She was also the Executive Headteacher of a school in Special Measures.

Liz Allen
Finance Director

Liz is the Finance Director for Staffordshire University Academies Trust. She is a Chartered Accountant (ACCA) with a background in finance and accounting. Liz started her career as a finance graduate in a large private sector organisation, gaining a range of experience in all areas of finance, before moving over to the education sector. She is currently studying for a Level 5 Leadership and Management Qualification. Liz leads a central team of a Finance Officer and Finance Assistants.

Hope Kirkham
Operations Manager

Hope is the Operations Manager for Staffordshire University Academies Trust. Her role involves supporting and managing operational aspects across our family of schools, including health and safety, data protection, property and procurement.  Hope is currently working towards further Level 5 qualifications in leadership and management supported by a professional background, in the private sector, in civil and rail engineering.
