We are thrilled to share the news with you that St Luke’s CE Academy have achieved the Platinum School Games award! The Academy thanks their PE lead, Mr Stokes and also to all of the staff for ensuring that the school’s PE provision allows their pupils’ lights to shine brightly!

The School Games Mark is a government led awards scheme launched in 2012 to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community. Participating in this process allows schools to evaluate their PE provision and assists them in developing an action plan for future progress.

The platinum award is the highest accolade, with just over 100 schools nationally achieving this. It is only available to those schools that have achieved the gold award in the last four applicable years. Congratulations St Luke’s!
