The shaded play area at All Saints CE Academy Denstone has become subject to poor condition. The wet pour to the grounds of the play area became slippery to walk on and protruding tree roots were also causing a trip hazard and damage to the flooring. The safety of our children is paramount, and therefore, sadly, the area had to be closed whilst we waited for works to take place.
Following careful planning and a weeklong project to undertake works to develop and regenerate the outdoor area, we are incredibly pleased with the results! This is an area that we are proud of, can be used safely and the children and staff at All Saints are able to benefit from the full extent of their wonderful outdoor environment once again!
Pupils attending the Academy enjoyed sitting and watching the development taking place and can now enjoy a very much improved play area.
