We are very pleased to see that the playground at All Saints CE Primary School has recently experienced a thorough refurbishment! The old red flooring and the play equipment was in poor condition and in some areas, out of use. The School Council wanted to prioritise the project so they set the wheels in motion for the new playground and equipment to be installed earlier this year.

The floor was replaced, and tree roots were removed to provide a smooth, safe and fit for purpose playground surface, and wooden play equipment was updated or replaced. The children thoroughly enjoyed following the progress of the project and were delighted to see their new playground being constructed!

The playground has been very much improved and will enhance the experience that pupils have at All Saints. Pupils from the Academy said:

“The improvements to the playground have meant that our playtimes are much more fun!”
“The new surface is really bouncy and feels much safer.”

Other words such as ‘awesome’ ‘cool’ and ‘picturesque’ were used to describe the new playground.

Congratulations to the staff and children at All Saints on the outcomes of their successful playground project!
